Hadith

'Abdullah bin 'Umar, may Allah be pleased with them, reported: Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) observed: O women folk, you should give charity and ask much forgiveness for I saw you in bulk among the dwellers of Hell. A wise lady among them asked: Why is it, Messenger of Allah, that our folk is in bulk in Hell? Upon this the Holy Prophet observed: You curse too much and are ungrateful to your spouses. I have seen none lacking in common sense and failing in religion but (at the same time) robbing the wisdom of the wise besides you. Upon this the woman remarked: What is wrong with our common sense and with religion? He (the Holy Prophet) observed: Your lack of common sense (can be well judged from the fact) that the testimony of two women is equal to one man, that is a proof of the lack of common sense, and you spend some nights (and days) in which you do not offer the Prayer and in the month of Ramadan (during the days) you do not observe Fast, that is a failing in religion. Muslim League of New Zealand is a non profit organization established in 2000 for the purpose of providing support and services to the New Zealand Muslim community through Muslim volunteers and Charitable trusts directly to the beneficiaries.

We provide Muslim and Non Muslim people with proper Islamic education, as well as encouraging and supporting cultural initiatives within the Islamic community. We do this through educational and social groups to enable immigrants, refugees and new settlers to adapt and settle into their new home, New Zealand. We also provide facilities to New Zealand Muslims, mainly in Wellington, to practice Islam.

Muslim League of New Zealand likes to focus on the well being of Muslims in New Zealand and all over the world. Halal Food has always been a major issue for Muslims who live outside an Islamic country or for Muslims who are interested in going into business with producers from non Islamic countries. Therefore we have gathered all our technical experience, as well as the skills to provide Muslims with information that could benefit them Globally and locally. Our Directories below have gathered information about Halal Products and Halal Producers in New Zealand.

We also support Muslims who are starting new businesses in New Zealand or would like to promote their businesses among the New Zealand community. The Community Directory below contains the details of organizations and individuals that provide services to the community.

Muslim League of New Zealand is also likes to promote the benefit of leading a healthy life therefore we are in progress of starting leisure activities for Adults, youths and children among the Muslim community.
